Let me start by saying that I really love the clan and it is a solid one that I am proud to be a member of. However nobody likes the losing streak and I wanted to throw in my 2 cents on it. We won't win them all and it is % of participation that is key. If we lost but had 90% participation then that would be fine.
I think that we should just advertise for new members on posts in the main clan forum and that gets picked up by google. We want mature players that want to go to back to back wars. There can be a code word that they type in to request to join and that will tell us that they found us there. People want to be a part of a solid stable clan that has good attack percentages and that is us.
Also when advertising in the global chat we can have people go to our rules page and on that it will have a code word. That way when they join they will see the rules and will already know them or else they wouldnt have a code word. So the person would already show commitment by taking the time to go and find the codeword. That way when they join they dont start off by feeling bossed around. They will soon see we are a good clan just by being a member.
We all have lives and sometimes something extreme happens and you only get one attack in and although that is bad, it happens sometimes. But even so we should be getting 90% yield...the reason we dont is because newbies quit while they are in war.
As far as clan size, it would be better to have a smaller loyal clan than lose in war....victories in war will attract people and keep people, so if we let the clan distill down into less loyal people, and then get a few wins then the clan will naturally grow because we lose fewer people....It is nice to have a larger clan because then troop requests get dealt with quicker. But it seems more important to win at war.
It seems like if we kick the people that dont attack while at the same time being selective in adding new members then we will distill down into a clan that gets nearly 100% of their attacks in.
My final comment would be that it seems like we get matched with super tough opponents and I think that is because some of us have a lot of trophies relative to our attacking strength. I know that DUDA is way ahead of me on trophies, but about the same in base development. I just know that months ago I got more trophies and then strong people would come and wipe me out all the time and steal all my resources, but then I just started farming and then rarely does somebody come and overwhelm me. That last clan was tough as nail and had really strong bases.
